Grand Illusions

Now this is clever, use a plant and some iodine as a photographic medium.
Grand Illusions
DIY Diffuser
A nice way to soften the effects of an on camera flash is to add diffusion to it. Here is a handy little one made out of a slide box that fits on a Nikon D70.
Mannequin Series
“there is absolutely no airbrushing or digital manipulation in the photos on this page. The magic of these photos is the meticulously planned image alignment. I shot these using film, locking the camera to a tripod and then taking two photos one after the other. It’s old-school photo montage, nothing more.”
フジペット AKA Fujipet
If retro is your thing then this is for you. the Fujipet is an old Japanese camera that was made in the early ’60s and was quite popular for it’s time.
World Toy Camera Day
Darn! I missed this, I’ll have to put it on the calendar for next year.
Cool Tripod
I could use one of these, you can mount it on a cars’in one configuration and in another shoot directly down in another. Packs away in a small space too.
Frozen Rose Photos
This is a series of photos taken with a sound sensor connected to a flash. The subject (the rose) was frozen in liquid nitrogen and then shot with a rifle. The rifles report triggered the strobes that were attached to the flashes. All were taken with a D100 f-4 – 5.6 1.3uS exposure.
